Roxaval Travels – Terms & Conditions & Cancellation Policy

  1. Booking and confirmation
  • All bookings must be made in writing via email, WhatsApp, or through our website.
  • A booking is considered confirmed upon receipt of a booking confirmation from Roxaval Travels and payment of the required deposit.
  • It is the client’s responsibility to review and confirm the itinerary and package details before finalizing the booking.

 

 

  1. Payments

 

  • A 30% deposit is required to confirm the booking.
  • The remaining 70% balance must be paid at least 14 days prior to the tour start date.
  • Payments can be made via bank transfer, or other methods agreed upon at the time of booking.
  • Failure to complete payment may result in cancellation without refund of the deposit.

 

  1. Cancellation & Refund Policy

We understand that travel plans may change. The following cancellation policy applies to all Roxaval Travels tour packages:

 

Client-Initiated Cancellations

  • 30 days or more before the tour start date: Full refund
  • 15–29 days before the tour start date: 50% refund
  • 7–14 days before the tour start date: 25% refund
  • Less than 7 days before the tour start date: Non-refundable

 

 

Additional Conditions

  • All cancellations must be made in writing via email to info@roxavaltravels.com
  • Refunds, where applicable, will be processed within 14 working days.
  • Certain components such as airfares, visa fees, third-party bookings, or special permits may be non-refundable regardless of the cancellation period.

 

 

  1. No Shows and Early Departures
  • No refunds will be given for no-shows or early departures once the tour has commenced.

 

 

  1. Changes by the Client
  • Changes to confirmed bookings (e.g., dates, itinerary) are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
  • All changes must be requested in writing.

 

  1. Changes or Cancellations by Roxaval Travels
  • Roxaval Travels reserves the right to alter or cancel tours due to unforeseen circumstances including natural disasters, political instability, or lack of minimum group size.
  • If we cancel the tour, clients will be offered a full refund or alternative tour options.

 

 

  1. Travel Insurance
  • Clients are strongly advised to obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering medical emergencies, cancellations, lost luggage, and personal liability.

 

 

  1. Client Responsibilities
  • Clients must ensure they hold valid passports, visas, and health documents.
  • It is the client’s responsibility to follow local laws and customs.
  • Roxaval Travels will not be liable for any costs or damages resulting from non-compliance.

 

 

  1. Liability Disclaimer
  • Roxaval Travels is not responsible for any loss, injury, or damage caused by third-party service providers (e.g., hotels, airlines).
  • While we ensure high standards, we are not liable for delays, changes, or disruptions caused by factors beyond our control.

 

 

  1. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka.
